The Fight for Clean Air

To get clean air in Beijing, China, it would cost over $10,000. The pollution is so bad most houses (who can afford) have a clean air filter, water filter, and bottled water for drinking. People must pay close attention to what they do, eat and drink. Jiang Wong, explains her morning routine which includes making sure that her daughter is breathing cleaning air, washing her food with a water filtration system under her sink and using imported bottled water to cook with. The pollution has gotten so bad, that a reported 3 million people from about 74 cities, died due to the pollution. China has been one of the worse pollution problems in the world. With the average salary being about $17,000 the poor suffer the most. They are unable to afford the expensive cost for clean air, filtered water, and imported bottled water.
